Ok seriously. There are videos out there of various levels that you can watch if you haven't figured out the 'trick' to a level. I think the key is recognizing the name/pattern of the level, identifying what the trick is to clear it quickly, and then blazing through as fast as you can.
I love Zen Gems, but the top players are just super crazy fast to post the scores they do. One day I was playing practice games and I think it might have been interiorsbydesign who had left a whole bunch of open practice games out there. They just killed me every time. Even when I did well they'd still smoke me. It was rather humbling.
