LOL ... I found something that might be useful, or completely useless, but ... if you find yourself missing a branch, click again, and again, and again to try and get it.

sometimes you make big swings - meaning long arm - and the monkey swings out of the screen (bottom)
while clicking - trying to catch the next tree - and my monkey was out of the screen (as decribed above) I immediately got game over, I did not even see my arm shot; so I couldn't tell where and how much I did miss the tree. needs to be checked - I'll keep an eye on that.

Yeah, it's not a glitch though, it's part of the game. You can't allow the monkey to go too far off screen (below) otherwise he dies, just as if he had fallen and missed a branch.

It didn't take me quite as long as lava-lava to figure out the "arm" (though, it was frustrating to find out by having the first few games a big fat ... zero). But, lava-lava picked up on the nuiances of the game, much quicker than I am ...
