yet I haven't got a msg back from her, so those 980 keeps bothering me aswell.
Flignats do you know how to get 980 on last weeks layout? (yes or no). If not how can you be certain it's valid?
Please don't let this discussion run into some general "how to validate games". You have to agree that those 3card-solitaire games, especially those which are unsolvable, are kinda unique. In particular due to it's finite possibilities there exists at least one optimal play, thus a highest possible score. Scores can be easy validated by showing the way it was played.
Due to this "easiness" of proof, I can understand why players have doubts, in scores they didn't archive especially if you invest alot time and plays into a certain layout.

Got it.
Ok, so a few things that I have tip-toe around here - and try not to turn it into a general security response.
- I was talking with Charger earlier, she had informed me that she did talk with you and that afterwards you had scored the 780 in the tournaments (coincidence?)
- We will not give out a player's strategy. There is just a bunch of reasons surrounding that.
- Even a simple yes/no would divulge pertinent security information about our system and what is visible to us.
I sort of have to plead the fifth here, for the safety of SA and its players. I can always offer my response that the game is valid, as well as the player, and the game play.
I know it's not what people want to hear, but it's the best I can offer. Charger would be the best way to find out her path through the cards for that tournament, if she can recall.

Oh I just see that I've got a msg from charger already on monday, I was always looking on the notifications in the left border, and it kept saying "0 new messages". So this is my fault, and I apologize for my impatience.
Well I didn't get the answer I was looking for, but just looks like I cannot get it.
Ok, I can imagine and understand reasons for not telling the "solution" in detail.
Well then it should be fine if I gonna proof the existence or non-existence of 980 in last weeks progressive. Will take some time on it.
edit:
"(coincidence?)" dunno, what you wanna say with that? from some point of view everything is coincidence

Why don't people just record their games with these winnings scores then post them as soon as the tournament is over? Seems like it would eliminate a lot of doubt.

Btw flignats I have a bone to pick with you about solitaire. I don't always get credited the points when I pull a card down from the set of 3 on top which is very aggrevating in non-winning tournaments when those few points matter. Is anyone else having this issue?? I pulled down one card and it gave me the 20 points or whatever, then I pulled down another one right afterwards and nothing.

Well, some players play a lot - tens or even a hundred games. Personally, I wouldn't want to start up Hypercam and record all my game play all the time, that would just be annoying. Plus, I would have a problem with having to 'prove' myself all the time. So, for the highly skilled players, we have a verification process that includes recorded game play, which most of you already know about.
You think there is a glitch? Usually we get lots of emails in when there is a glitch in a game, but this would be new to me. Do you know how to replicate it? Can anyone else say they've gotten the same glitch?

I had that in mind aswell, but I just checked my last weeks play (960) and this weeks play (780) and both scores are absolutly correct.
But I'll keep an eye on that for sure from now on. Could you see this glitch again?

Lava did you have that problem then as well? I played the progressive again once and the exact same move didn't have that problem this time, and I don't feel like wasting money playing it the exact same way again to see if the glitch happens lol. But it was at a specific point in the setup where you could play two cards with the same number--and even same color--so idk if that was what made it go goofy? It's the third time I played the setup the same way and it only happened once. My score was screwy the second time because I was throwing a mental temper tantrum and moving crap on the board around to figure it out.
