    Default Congrats to Brian!

Your current Scrabble Cubes champion is Brian Yung, taking home the prize in a cheater-free tournament (as far as I could tell)!
He beat me in the finals with a really good score for the board available...I embarrassed myself by choking significantly on that final round...Brian, just to give you an idea, I had 14 cubes left when time ran out....wtf...
anyhow, enjoy the cash...come play premiums and give some back!

Thanks Rahn! I don't know how I made it all the way to the finals but I definitely lucked out. There are plenty of ppl who are better than me at SC, not the least of which is you.

14 cubes is a LOT... heck that's more than half the cubes in the entire puzzle! You would have easily topped 1,000 if you finished. I thought I had played the final round pretty well but knew it was vulnerable to a few ppl because I may not have optimized efficiency.

Here was my final board/word list:

I played this a couple weeks ago, but from what I remember, the starting setup was pretty miserable (note the lack of bingos/high scoring words at the start), there were no big TLS cubes and I actually used the DLS cube on the top (left?) to connect to the TWS cube for three "-ing" words. The rest of my word list has a few common, low scoring bingos and nothing else remarkable. I did finish but I probably could've/should've managed to get another 30-50 points by playing a little more efficiently in the last third of the game (after my last bingo).

Anyway, thanks again and hopefully we'll see Scrabble Cubes in the W3 Competitions.

yeah, i didn't take a screen print because i was soooo angry.

I actually started out about the same, with couped, pitted, then opted...
but i wasn't able to use the TWS effectively (I exposed the U on it and it made words almost impossible...and that's where I got hung up on time).

I had 14 cubes, but 5 only had 1 use left, including both the TWS and the DWS...so I doubt i'd of broken a 1000, but I definitely could've made it more competitive! It was a nice score given that board for sure.

I don't think I made it past Round 5 in the competition. I kept forgetting about my entry and letting it forfeit by accident.
