How to win a WordLink Progressive. The ultimate guide.

Describing how to get these megascores in wordlink progressives is difficult to do in text (for a good attempt, see Bozonik's profile on king.com).

I have made a video (in 2 parts) and placed it on youtube with annotation to guide you through how to get these megascores. One note: this was not optimum play, this was a very quick and dirty run through. Typically, I will spend a few hours solving for my "best" megaword, this time around, I spent about 3 minutes. But this does show the basic strategy behind the megaword and shows you a nice 3,000,000+ score!

you finally listened to me hehe... although you're a little more sophisticated than I am. I usually at least try to score decently on the first run through (i.e. when finding out what the gold tile order is). When I was in the 6000-8000 range sometimes I could score high enough on the first try to finish 1st (score 150,000+) so I didn't even have to retry.

I've been banned by king for no apparent reason so I'm waiting for my reinstatement. Apparently when I tried to log in from internet cafes in Asia King thought I was using double accounts or multiple identities or something. Hopefully they'll resolve my account and I'll see you around soon.

Hi thanks for the vids, they are very helpful,
The only problem i have following your guide is that when i make my super word, which for me is usually 6-8 coloured letters, the word gets approved but i get a zero score, i have had this a few times now and can't figure out why this happens.
Any advice you might have or if you know what i am doing wrong i would really appreciate your input, i usually get quiet a few 'false' 32,00 words but figure the super word should beat them to a pulp.

hey,
i've had this happen to me before as well. Adamsite informed me of yet another unpublished rule at king.com...

if you get 20 invalid words, anything you make with the bonus letters will not be scored!

So just be careful to not get too many fake words (I typically try not to do any that aren't involved with setting up the bonus word).

No, this method isn't cheating, anyone with the skill to find the big bonus word AND THEN organize the board is excessively skilled. I would say that this method of playing progressives is what keeps real players in the money...it'd be really really difficult to develop a cheat program to do this...

This is so much helpful for me. I'm a complete newbie in WordLink game, which is like scrabble or something, but I hope this guide would not let something that my account might be at risk of getting banned.

Hello everybody, good guide, but I did not understand some things. I'm playing every day for hours but can not exceed 60000th points. I hope to explain, at some point the game gives me only consonants and so I am having 6 or 7 points bonus but no word as to form. what I did not understand and if you are able to make out the bonus point in the row where you want you want, if you like doing? you can also choose the letter or bonus that is random? where am I wrong?
