    Default Prize.com thread

We've been writing a ton about Prize.com's changes in the chat box, but I'll start a thread about them here as well.

For starters, anyone have a use for 276 Chili's gift cards?

Interesting: "Founders have chosen to bootstrap, not take any outside funding, and have personally invested $2.0MM into Prize. Growing fast, Prize now has 14 full-time employees and will soon be expanding into casino games for web, social, and mobile."

just getting reply from support on the topic of rewards for the international player base.
Melissa said, "International players WILL have the option to redeem stars fir rewards. We are currently working on this feature now!"

Really? That's good if so, but I still don't get how it would work. I mean, US vouchers for Sears etc. are no use in the UK or Europe! Now AMAZON, that would be DIFFERENT lol! I often buy stuff on Amazon UK, so if I could use like an electronic credit or something that would do nicely. But I think they should have considered this before making this change as now a lot of players will be left in limbo wondering if it's worth even playing, stop, and then not even come back. So their player base could suffer over this. Even US players won't be as enthusiastic if they can only use gift cards instead of cash withdrawals. Why didn't they just reduce the daily spinner values if it was costing them too much?

I think they felt trapped by previous promises, but what do I know.

I would continue to play if I didn't have to deal with the stupid advertisements before every single game. I think if it's a free game, fine... show me an ad. But if I pay to play, don't make me watch a stupid video for longer than it takes to play the damn game!

support is slowly answering my questions, here's the latest mail I got.

"I just found out that the 12/15 deadline WILL NOT affect any players outside of the US. We are still working on processing your withdrawal.

    Happy Gaming!
    Melissa"

Agree. If we're paying a fee, they're already taking a rake out of that.

Lava, that's wonderful news if true! That makes sense, let overseas players continue to draw out by paypal, whereas US players can cash in for gift cards (which I am sure they can make use of as they look like popular retailers). Otherwise it's pointless having overseas players at all as you could never arrange gift cards with all those retailers in foreign countries. We'll see how it pans out (fingers crossed!)
