frustrating night. -$200 in live play and now having trouble staying connected to full tilt -- still at $150 there.
I actually played online a lot starting in 2001 when I first came to the US. It was great, loads of free money to sign with sites, no bs involved in cashing out, and freerolls (upto $500)with 100-200 people with real cash prizes. I played mostly on Planet Poker and Royal Vegas,(although had about 10 sites downloaded on my pc at one point) I won about 15K between them both and only ever made one deposit on RV to confirm my identity. Royal Vegas would even send me $50 on my birthday, and $10-$20 from time to time if I didnt play for a while. Up until I came to the US I had never played a game of Holdem in my life, so I was by no means good, I had played stud and draw for years so it wasnt hard to figure out what to do. I probably was one of the fish, but obviously not as much as others.Yeah 2004 would be nice
Moneymaker brought a lot more money online but also a lot more sharks, and then the UIGEA killed it completely for me. Too much crap trying to get money onto the sites.
I havent played in a while, and now that I am a king addict probably wont for a while, and have still not ever played a live game of holdem.
Good luck with your games, its interesting to see the various swings you are having both online and live.
slainte_2 on all sites
another -$200 in live play... taking a break from that for a while to regroup
won my Full Tilt account up to $315... withdrew $250 to make up for some live losses and am trying to start over with a small balance on Tilt yet again.
For the year:
Live: +$1747
Online: +$725
+$2472 overall.
busto'd the Full Tilt balance.
- Lost $200 in live play
- Deposited $50 on Bodog -- BUSTO
- Deposited $25 on Bodog -- BUSTO
- Deposited $41 on Bodog -- ran that up to $251 at the moment
Live: +$1547
Online: +$609 (not including the $251 balance since I only count it when I cash out)
+$2156 overall (+$2407 with the $251 in my balance)
Playing on Bodog is like going back to 2005 all over again. 35%+ seeing the flop instead of 20-25% on Tilt and like 17% in Rush Poker on Full Tilt. I feel like much of my Full Tilt winnings were lucky, whereas I think I can win consistently on Bodog. Time will tell.

Just a sick day of playing so far on Bodog. Played Omaha and am not really good enough to be playing that -- but somehow broke even when I pulled a miracle 2-outer out of the deck to double up on one table even as I was losing my stack (deservedly) on the other table I had open. Then I went from $250 --> $128 by playing horrible NLHE, and then finally found an easy table and caught some cards and vaulted back from $128 --> $299.
So I'm up $48 for the day but played like a complete donkey until the very end when the cards made me look good.
I still think this site is beatable but I need to exercise better table selection and focus in the future.
played an evening session as well -- things are so juicy in the PM on Bodog.
up to $430.85 now.
Played about 2 hours yesterday, 1700hands, -62$. I did play very well tho, so I'm happy, I just need to stop running like crap. At least I just made it to goldstar on PS and ordered me an Ipod touch 32G, now I need to figure out what to do with my other 50k fpp points before I lose goldstar status again.
Cashed out $400 on Bodog and BUSTO'd the rest.
Live: +$1547
Online: +$1009
+$2556 overall
Funny how live has gone downhill and online has improved since I started this thread.
