Thread: Banned from King.com for winning.

Default Banned from King.com for winning.

So I just got into king.com about a week ago. I have been playing a lot since I don't have a job and I wanted to see if it was possible to make as much as a part time job. Well I practiced Carnival Shootout for about two days before putting 5 dollars in and becoming a Gold Member. I practiced hard because I had seen a youtube video of someone scoring well over 48000. I wanted to be sure I wasn't going to get owned and lose all my money. Once I started playing for cash I was winning almost all my games with scores that were around 25% higher than anyone I faced (btw my best score is 45,148).

So everything was going great except for the fact that they use a crappy activex plugin that wont work for Firefox except in the two lowest prize games (go figure). So I had to switch to IE before I could make the big bucks. As of right now my money count is $116.47 and since yesterday I get this message whenever I try to play any game, even free ones:

"Your account has been blocked. There can be a number of reasons for this like one or more failed payments or multiple user accounts.

If you have any question, please do not hestitate to contact our customer support here."

I have submitted at least 4 customer support tickets to them so far, two were unrelated to the ban. No responses have come to me in either my email or messages.

Apparently they are assuming that since I have won most of my games I must be cheating and therefore should be banned. This is absurd. I could take legal action against them and claim my money since they have nothing but a hunch that I am somehow illegitimate since I am can hit targets on my screen a little more accurately than most other people.

Can someone please tell me that this is not happening or perhaps this isn't the first time. I have not broken any of the terms and conditions (yes I read them before I put in 5 dollars).

This usually happens on first withdrawal. If you send them a form of ID to the abuse@king.com. they will look it over and unblock you

The thing is I didn't withdraw because I had read about them going psycho whenever someone withdraws.

They probably just flagged your account as you had won every game, they will get back to you soon. And you will have to send ID, and the your rank for carnival shootout will be rocketed so that its near impossible to win. Thats just how king works...

Yeah if you win all the time you get flagged even before you withdraw (as you should be). They'll take some time to review your account, then you'll probably have to send ID and then you'll be reinstated with an inflated rating that they believe is your real skill level. It's a pain but they are VERY anti-cheating.

I had the exact same thing happen to me when I first started playing. Their main concern seemed to be that I had another account. After sending my ID, explaining previous experience with similar games and some other stupid stuff they unblocked my account. It took about 2 weeks, I was getting about 1 reply every 2 days. All you can do is be patient and friendly and everything will be fine (if you really didn't cheat ofc).

This is going to be annoying, so basically I wont be able to make money off of carnival shootout anymore unless I play amazing every game? I should have entered like 2 dozen of the $6.80 prize games and had them all pay out over the week. I probably would have, had I known this was coming.

I am still very annoyed that they never sent me a message or anything on why I was blocked...

Yep, that's gonna be the case. You should be really happy it's just one game you are getting boosted in, I got boosted in over 10 games, 5 of which I was boosted to top 20 in the world (and that's way beyond my ability).

I don't understand why king.com doesn't have a auto-mail to explain the blocking. And it's scary not getting a reply for 2 days not knowing the situation.

I think the reason they dont say anything is to not give cheaters any info. And I guess generally if your banned and you have been cheating you will just give up? maybe, I dont really know. Also after your first set of boosts never complain when your withdrawls running a few days late or they will boost you again!!

I played for no more than 4 days before I got blocked. lol.

They think I'm too good to be legit ^_^ I guess all that counter-strike does pay off eventually!
