popcap now has bejeweled blitz for download. I tried the timed trial. it's basically like the FB version but plays smoother. there are also badges for achievements. and you can connect the game to facebook blitz so your scores get recorded.

I don't remember what my highscore was. I know I scored 515k two weeks ago. I've gotten 500k 3 times since they started keeping track of the scores up to 500k

I managed about 625k before they changed it recently and added all those purchasable powerups.
I think at the same time they made the time shorter to keep a combo going, so overall it's harder to score high now without the powerups you buy.
I wish this game would come to king, it's perfect and far better than the boring slow and less skilled original bejewelled

I wish King would start make good skillgames again
