Thread: Game duell sucks

    Default Game duell sucks

I got banned for my signature on a form not matching the one on my driver's license. Never mind that the name and everything matched, but no, I signed my name sloppily like I usually do instead of taking 10 minutes to write it legibly and they banned me.

ask that you complete and return the attached file along with a copy of a
    government-issued ID by 03/12/2010.

Default Why have you got to send in a signature??

I've never had to do that before, are you changing your name or something? If I were you I would remove that image of your siggie, you never know people out there etc.!

By the way, have you ever seen jackpots/progressives on gameduell? I signed up a few months ago and haven't ever seen them on that site. It's like they're doing technical updates or something which are taking forever. So even if you could play, you're not missing much lol!

(And By the way 2, why is this post in SUPER WIDE SCREEN LOL???)

Why did they need all that info chit, anyway? I never did become a cash player there, but I have played for almost a year ... so I am a bit lost on why they required an I.D.?

And Flignats ... if you are following this ... I ain't showing you squat for an I.D., so don't you start askin'!! I was online when you were still in your pampers!!

That does royally suck (but it makes for another great headline for my blog, hehehe).

Geez, have you ever signed for your groceries using those electronic thingies ... I know damn well that sig never looks anywhere near mine.

Whatever. I never understood why Gameduell operates the way they do. They can be a much better site with the traffic they have but the management must not be there.

It's wide because of the picture - there is no automatic resizing.

Dunno Flignats ... I think I know why it's such a struggle, even those companies with a lil cash behind em. I mean, what the heck happened to Dukesbox? or uVme? Gameduell and Spootnic are doing only a little better than SA (was researching web stats over the weekend, don't mind me) ... but all-in-all WHY can't the smaller gaming sites grow more quickly?

I believe that it all comes down to the industry being UNDEFINED. The newbie finds Skill Games, or legal online game cash competitions (that's a mouthful), either by word or mouth ... or like me, by pure accident. Who the heck would even know to Google "skill games?" And the supposed organization driving this bus, ISGA ... LOL, what do they actually do??? ... anything??? ... lately??? Don't even get me started on thier supposed "members."

And BTW Flignats ... don't you have some actual work to do over there, hmmm??? LOLOLOL

Ha.. even on vacation I work..

But, let me make throw some stuff out there..

    - I wouldn't consider Spootnic bigger than SA. We've been giving out bigger, and more, prizes for a long time, than they are. Also, from my gaming experience on there we probably have more players. I, personally, do not believe their "XXX players online" at the top of the site.

    - Gameduell on the other hand is way bigger... They are looking at >1 million players a month. I would guess about 1.5mm... That's a crap ton of players and a huge loss in opportunity.

    - Uvme, dukesbox, nowplayme... all done ... Players don't go enough (nowplayme has plans, but there is no timeline so who knows).

    - ISGA hasn't done anything in years. I've been trying to contact the 1 contact for them for weeks now and haven't heard a word... I think they just don't care or bother with it.

It is hard to tell with Spootnic, true ... but it's harder still to tell with SA. Sorry, but I have nothing else to compare other than the game tourneys, themselves. And it would be wayyy beyond my pay grade here, to even guess and compare payouts between you two.

Not to copy "them" ... because I do believe you have a better mousetrap over there (or I sure as chit wouldn't spend more time at SA than I do anywhere else), but why not hold some daily/weekly unlimited-spread-em-thin "token" tourneys across the games. Make em bet with the tokens FOR tokens (and maybe special CASH or PRIZE pots, once in a awhile), with the Top 50 or so winning something.

... BTW, that's the only indicator that leads me to believe they are bigger than you, and only in the "players online" kinda way. Of course, 99% appear to be all players from France, and there appears to be a greater mix from around the planet of players at SA ... especially, on the leaderboard ... not sure why that is ... are most of the best players on King, Brits?

" ... don't care or don't bother with it" ... yup, which seems to be the jist ... well, just about everywhere related to this industry. Which makes me wonder if I should just jump ship and hit the semi-illegal casino industry, instead!

We will be enabling Skill Token tournaments (progressives, specifically) in due time. Every site features has impacts in a ridiculous range of other features - just something that needs to get analyzed before we unlock it to everyone

nah--- semi-illegal casino industry needs to stay the way it is (illegal) and let us skill game businesses have a chance at the market

oh yeah, and I see what's wrong with the signature now ...

It reads "Any" in cursive ... does anybody actually write anything in cursive, anymore?

    We should bring cursive BACK!

Let's design a new cursive font ... and call it ANY!
