It's unfortunate you cannot play at King. I would then suspect that you too are looking for other outlets to pursue gaming, so I wouldn't expect you jumping to conclusions so suddenly about SA.

My statement, although appears belittling, really is just restating your position in my own words. I had provided warning that your rhetoric would guide the conversations tone, it was just guided in that direction.

Given that there is nothing wrong with the site and your question was multiple choice, that leaves only the pathetic option that you provided. Maybe there should have been more options available?

We get new cash players everyday - fortunately our numbers far exceed only 10 cash players. If that were the case we would have shut SA down months ago.

Like I mentioned previously, the best place to have gone to accommodate your concern would have been our own Support and/or forum. There you would have easily seen the motive behind the way the tournaments function. Since I don't think you did that, even though I mentioned it, I will paste a response I was referring to that would have helped you in detail;

As you can see, it's acknowledged and clearly explained. Obviously there is give/take that we have to address.

Ok, it hasn't been brought up before, but maybe the Play Again is misleading. We'll try to work that out so it won't be in the future. Unfortunately, we are undertaking a lot of projects right now, but in the near future we'll be able to do something about it.

The PayPal process will remain the same. I'm not sure you've gone in depth to understand PayPal's policies, but we will not change our relationship with PayPal and how it works until they change some of their own - especially towards small businesses. I understand you have your own agenda, and the player's are one of our top priorities, but there is more than what you see there. The best you'll get in that regard is different payment gateways, which we'll be implementing in the near future. If you don't like PayPal, I suggest that you switch when we provide the chance. However, I don't think that makes any site a 'joke' either. You want a joke? King.com taking 2 weeks to process a payment. That's a joke. Hell, I would pay $10 to have it in 3 business days. Want another joke? WWs support. I'd give more money to have a decent response from them and one that makes sense. Want some reality? We rock. Yes, it's that type of mood that I am still in

I wrote to them a bunch of time I sent them my picture ID and everything .When I created an account there I won like 700+ in the first few days and withdrew somewrhere around 700 . Couple days later I logged in and i was blocked they told me that my account was blocked for security reasons they cannot speak about and all they can say was that it was triggered and they cant open my account. They asked if I knew anyone that played there I told them I was reffered by this Ruth that played there and referred me when I met het at the 2006 Worldwidewebgames . They didnt want to pay me either but I got the $700 out of them but never had an account to play with after that .


I think the reason is that I came in and played 5 different games and took out daily's in all of them over the corse of a few days . I would play say solitare daily max that out then play player competitions until I saw a new daily tournament then enter that until I maxed out my entries and then go play more player tournaments until I saw a new Daily .King has many daily rankings so I was in 4-5 daily tournaments with top spots and the 3 day progressives also (not positive it they were 3 day but whatever they offer along with daily)

But most of the games where new and fun as they were simular to Swapping games that I am good at . The best part is that was like 2006 or early 2007 i created that account and they didnt have games i play the most of like BJ2 ...there was bombom silverscreen jewelquest solitare and couple different mahjong games .

Mahjong is actually how I got into skillgaming I use to play it from a cd I bought years ago and one day a popup came to play for money at skilljam so I tried it out and won the daily for over 100 the first night i was there with my min deposit of 10 i believe

@Flignats - The "Play Again" button is misleading, if you are a WW player. Not for any fault of your site, but the terminology is so similar to the "Play again to better your score" option on WW. I made the same mistake when I first signed up at SA. I'm sure many other players have as well.

@W3 - I'm not sure if you were just in a bad mood when you posted, or if you're really that mad about games taking a bit of time to close. Doesn't seem like you to post something so negative without at least contacting customer support first.

SA really is a quality site.

There is nowhere else you will get the customer support/service that you will at SA (at least in my experience.) Maybe the best option for you would be to wait until the site grows a bit more so you won't have to wait for games to close. Or, if you play challenges and progressives, you know there is a definite end. I have found the progressives to be the most profitable games on the site anyway.

Yes, the tournaments are slow to close. Last time I checked my account, I had games open from May of last year. I knew I had the choice to close them out, but I opened them knowing this could happen.

It's kind of a catch 22 deal because we all want the site to be big before we play, but if we don't play, the site won't grow. Ever since the first solitaire progressive went over $500, they've consistently been hitting higher and higher numbers. People now expect to be playing for a larger prize, and so they continue to play multiple entries rather than playing once or twice and walking away. As a result, new players see the huge prizes and want to play as well, further increasing the prize. Of course, it's a pretty basic concept, and I'm sure you already know this... but games taking a while to close is hardly a reason to imply that the site is pathetic.

Considering that WW owns a large market share and people would be used to seeing the Play Again button as a way to replay the same tournament, I can understand how it would be confusing for some people.

Thanks for the support though - Some things we can't readily control, but the things we can, such as support, we try our best to perform them the best we can.

as for depositing into your site again I really cant see that happening anytime soon as I like to have games end in a timely matter and 2 weeks doesnt seem anything like timely . I rather lose than have to waste my time on checking the status of a tournament for that long.Plus I dont have the time to get good at new games or the desire anymore

I'm not entirely sure if you are complaining about our skill ranks or WorldWinner's. If you are getting paired up against Amy, it's because you two are in the same skill level. This could happen for several reasons - Maybe Amy doesn't play for cash and enjoys free games or maybe She lost big in a challenge tournament. Now, none of this is fact, since I didn't look into her account, but I am demonstrating the possibilities as to why certain players are in certain skill ranks.

If you prefer a tournament to close withing a 'timely' manner, than I suggest participating in a tournament that has a finite deadline; e.g. Progressive tournaments, You vs. You, Challenge Tournaments.

I think its highly arguable that something is 'great' for more than just when tournaments close. We are superior to our peers in many facets, and inferior in others. One thing we don't have is nearly unlimited budgets. You'd be surprised on how much WW and King pay, per day, to keep players coming in. We get ours nearly costless and new ones every day. It's a snowball, you can criticize or you can provide constructive criticism. Right now, you are in the former - No help really.

However, I will take solace in the overwhelming majority of users that tell us our community is amazing rather than not - Most of which, by sheer number, do not come from the Cashgamers community.

To add my 2 cents -- SkillAddiction has made improvements in heaps and bounds since its inception in 2009. I would have to admit that SA's initial web design came off as a King.com clone, and I didn't really know what to expect with its future with some of the initial glitches & issues that came up. But through perseverence and a crapload of hard work from a lot of people, SA looks and feels completely different compared to before. I really see SA as a completely viable website to win money & have fun with, and as the playerbase grows (and deposits ) we'll most likely see cooler games & features coming from the developers.

But,good to see the thread alive lol. Thx Jacob, some great feedback on how we've been doing, and we have a lot more to do.

The competition has definitely escalated, the progressives are fierce, but a lot of people land in the money. The daily's provide a constant flow of cash prizes, if you are skilled enough, and we are adding games like whoa - hint hint, another coming soon! Better keep your eyesight sharp, you'll need it in the next title.

Actually, you've shown only your ignorance throughout the thread.

Skilled players at SA are eventually all confronted with the same issue that you describe and they all are met with the same exact answer - one of which you never bothered to get to. If a tournament is open, for an extended period of time, the player can request to have it closed. It's been our policy from day 1. If you bothered to look around the site you would have known that. Usually the first place for such an answer would be on our own support - you're just lucky enough to receive some sort of response because I happen to be in this community as well.

No reason for you to get offended and defensive; I told you from the beginning that your own rhetoric will dictate the direction of this conversation If you expect to mouth off too a business and for them to just beckon at your will, this wouldn't be one of those occasions. However, you do have this small annoyance of using extremes; e.g. pathetic, TRUE, ect. I think we do a pretty good of running the company. In fact, we've incorporated more features recommended from players than I count; and surely more, in the small time, than our peers. My aim isn't to belittle you, but I will put effort into trying to get you to step outside your own box, which appears to be pretty constricting. You're more than welcome to not continue at SA - it's your will, let me know your username so I can help you with that.

One final point for this post - Provide some constructive criticism, not name calling or bashing. Not only will it not help us out, but it won't help you out either. My stance has always been on the side of the players, hell it's a firm one that is repeated throughout many posts here on Cash Gamers. But, what you think you might be doing, by your way of criticizing, is actually not achieving what you want. You can go ahead and continue to play at only two skill gaming outlets - but for the majority of players; we are all met with a ceiling and need to venture outside the two major players. That is where SA comes in and instead of growing that community, to leverage it for all its worth, your apparent goal is to forgo that opportunity. Why do you think threads keep popping up about places to play games and other communities to win cash at - we need more.

At this point I've rambled and forgot my direction. Feel free to respond and hopefully your response directs me in a better direction. That's the type of mood I am in today! Ha.

another thing that is wrong I was messaged at WW from a person that played at your site and read this thread , they said that your site is a joke and that this person had a withdrawl from your site and it went to paypal and you couldnt even handle the processing fees that they obtain to recieve the cash from your site . If i get paypal from ww i get the amount I withdrew $10 withdrawl and $10 depposit your site $10 withdrawl and aproximatly $9.10 into my payapl account ..you might want to work on that 1 too
