Is Game Duell a big sham?

Okay, I recently became a money player on game duell and the biggest reason I never bothered with the site in the past is that you can't withdraw for like 6 weeks and they do that strange thing with converting your deposit in $G so anyway, it seemed all pretty goofy.

But, I changed my mind because I was reading that people here were actually playing on that site so I kind of trusted it thinking, well the pros game on the there so maybe it's not as bad it seemed--WRONG, that site wacko! Biggest flaw is that "Open Duells" tab is out of service This means when you enter a tournament, and you don't have an opponent or it's not filled, you don't have any way to track it. The problem with is, I've had now three tournaments just mysteriously vanish (and one game was interrupted by their happy hour right in the middle of the game, I couldn't even freak'n' finish it). Anyway, I had hunt through my account statement to verify that i really did play these games but they still aren't listed under my "finished duells" so I guess the boogie man really did eat them. Anyway, I filled out a customer service form and they've never gotten back to me. Nada, zip, zilch! In addition, when I first made a deposit I never got the deposit bonus and once again, customer support MIA...

So...what freak'n' gives? I don't want to play anymore games because I actually think there are probably more of my tournaments that just went into oblivion but I was too busy playing to keep track of them all...it's just so bizarre and customer support doesn't respond--like, at all--nothing! Is that what I'm to expect from this site--what a f-ck'n' sham!

After reading past threads/comments I realized that others had issues with this site too (to a certain extent)--but just to update because the whole thing really got me cranky, after filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (which Game Duell is a member) I finally got a reply from customer service...WTF!

what'd they have to say? yea i got random crap from GD asking to confirm my account. are they targetting US people? are they trying to make it a completely german site or something? dunno.

They never answered as to why my games just vanished nor even mention anything about when the Open Duells page will be working. In my complaint to BBB I said I wanted my account to be credited for all the missing funds which is what GD has done at this point just telling me they were sorry for the delay. The whole thing still rings shady or perhaps their US market/office er whatever is just MIA. It's a shame, they have a couple fun games but I just don't trust the place anymore--my problems were so minor if I actually did manage to win enough to make a withdrawal who's to say I'd ever see the money--pfft, GD sucks.

WW sucks worse than GD. i have made a withdrawal from GD and got my money into my paypal account. they will probably just accuse you of "money laudering" if you bug them further. its all rather stupid really.

GD sucks, more specifically, their US customer service sucks. They sent me an email asking me to confirm my account. I emailed my response. 7 days later, they asked me to confirm my account again. I emailed the confirmation form again. 7 days passed and I'm banned.

I got a w/d from GameDuell last year, and I just made a small withdrawal about 2 weeks ago, so we'll see if it ever comes...

thats the same excuse they gave me too. i thought all this account confirmation stuff was weird...how they were suddenly doing this for all their USA members....then they ban them for winning? :P
