You have to play cash games, and you get points for winning games. The more money you win, the more points you get.

The amount of points you accumulate determines your placing in the Treasure Quest...the player with the most points wins 1st, the player with the second most points wins 2nd, etc.

my ranking was manually adjusted to over 14k right after i got my withdrawal today so no way i can catch up with juvain with the insane pace he going at. he must be losing a shitload of money. i guess he really wants that netbook.
