I don't know how many active users here are WW PC members, but I had an idea about how to incorporate progessives back into the WW games without violating any laws. So, I'm posting this again and would appreciate comments. Thanks!

Oops it didn't copy lol: 03/11/2009, 12:57 AM Possible progessive idea?
I know that WW used to have progessives, but due to legal issues, they can't have them anymore. So, I would like to give a suggestion for a middle ground, although I don't know if this would fall into a legal gray area.
Tournaments like the dailies that somewhat fluctuate based on the level of involvement. Especially with newer games, the prize pools increase and decrease in size quite suddenly. So what if WW were to adjust the amount of dailies or big tournaments daily? For a $2000 daily prize pool, for example, what if WW made an announcement that the amount of money awarded to qualifying players would vary on a daily rather than an overall basis, and the amount of money spent on dailies would determine the next day's prizes? I say this with a minimum in mind, btw--if you play a game with a low overall pool, like Tile City, say it could not drop below the current amount. But the more people that played, and the more entries they paid for would determine the next daily prize pot.
Again, not sure if this would be legally acceptable or not, but to a point it would be an even better example of fairness than what WW has right now. Sometimes, it takes 20+ tries to get a decent score in a daily, and if the prizes reflected that the next day, I think it might help quell any complaints about WW making "too much money" while also giving players a progessive-like tournament.
Thoughts?
It's a good idea, and it's been brought up to Worldwinner before. They've never made any statement on it or shown any interest, though. It looks pretty bleak.

yea i think either me or some other PC member posted that exact suggestion before...but WW didnt even bother or care about it. *siiiigh*
