i thought it was weird. i mean i was interviewed, but a lot of the stuff we talked abotu Darren didnt even use. and the question abotu "how much do you make in total" seemed so sudden. i was like i dunno. 200k-300k? 400k + if i wasnt banned from WW for 6-8 months and cheated out of the 2006 W3games by skilljam. then he used the highest figure i said i was like WHAT no XD

Same here... I was surprised that the article didn't try to get people more interested in playing for the W3 games! And the "how much have you made" question came out of nowhere... Wasn't really sure, so I just threw out a number that I was sure I made because of the things I bought with it... Don't know about any money I blew on Ebay before it ever left my paypal account! LOL

LOL follow your own advice johan :P
Wow, I sound like a total noob compared to GG/Camaro, haha.
I didn't intend to imply that players in small games aren't as skilled-- I tried to say that the competition wasn't as rough in low-stakes games. That is, the same players will probably be playing, but they're gonna' fight a lot harder and be a lot more aggressive when $200 is on the line than $10 or $20 is on the line.

It's different for me, when a lot is at stake I get nervous and mess up![]()

Well, I think that he didn't necessarily mis-quote me, but he did what most writers do... took what he wanted out of what we all said and spun it to fit his angle.
PC world article : "I made a gazillion dollars last year skillgaming."
[editor's note: but I lost all but $100 of it to withholdings and "additional entry fees" LOL]
