    This is old news, but I thought it'd be interesting to share this news piece with you guys just in case you didn't already know.

    King.com today announced the resignation of Toby Rowland as Co-CEO of the Company.

    PRLog (Press Release)Oct 02, 2008 – Mel Morris, Chairman of the Board, said "On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Toby for the immense contribution he has made to King.com. He has been a highly effective co-CEO, and Toby's recent achievements have included King.com's successful launch and growth in the United States, development of Company's advertising business, and the Company's IP licensing programme. We wish him well in his future endeavors, and look forward to his continued contribution to the Board".

    Mr. Rowland co-founded King.com in 2003, and led the company from the start-up phase through to profitability in 2005 and a €34m investment in the company by Apax Partners and Index Ventures in September 2005. In 2008, King.com remains strongly profitable and hosts more than 200 million games played by 12 million visitors every month, has more than 70 employees and continues to grow rapidly.

    Roy Mackenzie of Apax Partners UK Ltd, non-executive Director of King.com, commented, "I would like to add my thanks to Toby for the key role he has played in the development of King.com and for the drive and commitment he has shown in building the Company.

    I can't believe he injected that much money into King...that must be one hell of an advertising budget or something.

    i didnt know that O_O! thanks for posting it. sooooooo how does this change king? are they "under new management" is it just run by the one guy now? or what?

    they have offices in Los angeles....didnt know that....maybe i should visit them XD whats the address LOL!
