Default How did you get started in skill gaming?

I got into it after my friend told me to play Deal Or No Deal on king.com. I liked the game and loved some of the others they had, so I started visiting more frequently. I never intended to start playing for cash, I just played the games for free. I thought the competition would be too good to win anything.

Eventually I noticed I was doing pretty well in the silver progressives (for jewels) and deposited €10 just to give it a try. In a month I had turned it into €500. Then I knew I was hooked. I think in the early days my favorite games were Katana Kaunto and Mahjong Masquerade.

I have tried playing on other skill gaming sites, but none have games that are as well designed as King's. And even though there's cash to be won, I think the fun I have playing the games still beats any income I generate. That's why I'm still almost exclusively on King.

I found Worldwinner on New Year's Day, January 1, 2002. Played a few free games, then thought I could win a few bucks on the now-replaced game Word Cubes. Won some money, figured I was playing on the house's money at that point, and never looked back.

Johan told me about WorldWinner while he was just starting out, and I decided to play the games as a non-cash player on there for a few months. I've played a game similar to Bejeweled on Puzzle Pirates, so I thought I'd give BJ2 a try and learn the game...and look at me now! A Bejeweled monkey to the fullest.

I found out about King while doing google searches for Bejeweled...I was kind of a late starter on King, but by then I was already decent in Bejeweled so I knew the drill.

I still think that Worldwinner or King could add a game with mechanics similar to bilge in Puzzle Pirates-- despite them already having a ton of swap-3 games, the dynamics are so much different in the ability to freely move pieces about. Too many moves to set up a big combo and you'd end up losing points, etc.
