Thread: King blocked my account!

    Angry King blocked my account!

Ok, so I asked for a withdrawal of £150, two weeks later I still had heard nothing, and still had no withdrawn money.

So today I sent them a message asking them why I hadn't had it yet etc and when I could expect it.

I get a e-mail back a few hours later saying they have blocked my account and want ID identification!?!

I have now sent a scan of my passport to them, but have heard nothing back yet. What the deal with this?

My account is blocked and had a few progressives I wanted to play in tonight (weekly / 3day ones) that I expected to hit top 10 in. Now I can't do that, they said nothing to me before I sent them a message requesting this information, then they treat me as if I am some cheat.

Do they do this with everyone? Because it's an extremely poor way to run a business. I am certainly not happy right now.

Yeah this is pretty normal for them. After my first withdrawal I also had to send a scan of my passport. I'm sure they will unblock you eventually, just gotta be patient, cause they are slow.

they typically do that with all first withdrawals that they consider "big". i had to send my driver's license to them when i first signed up...because they thought i had multiple accounts -.-

Ok, I finally got a reply e-mail from them, and now it's absolutely ridiculous

    thank you for your e-mail.

Thank you for the provided information.

However, our security system still is showing many indications of
previous experience. Do you have an explanation to this? Have you
possibly had a previous practice account?
They blocked my account because I happen to be good at the games ? What kind of business do these people run. They question the players on there site that actually win money? They can't expect everyone to lose?

Seriously, this is crazy. I have given them information about my gaming past hoping that it will be enough. But other than that I don't know what else to tell them.

Just say you had a previous practice account and you don't remember what username is...the story ends and you can have your withdrawal.

I had to actually record my games and send the files to them before I got my first withdrawal. But their security system was somehow indicating that my games lasted longer than they should.

    I can't understand the logic.

They make £1000's every hour of the day 24/7. They moan about a player thats winning games and therefore making them money? They take the effort to pay people to sort out a problem that doesn't exist on a £150 withdrawal.

From what they are doing there more likely to drive me away from playing, and that just results in less cash for them.

They also have no right to block my account just because they happen to feel like it. I havn't broken the contract agreement that they issue you with upon signup, and even if they "think" I have, they have no proof to do it.

There customer service is the worst I have ever known, over 22 days it's taken since I wanted me withdrawal, and I am still blocked and havn't seen the money. This should of been sorted out in about a day, a week at most.

Any poker site would have live support and would be on the phone to you trying to sort your account problems out for you as quick as possible.

Basically, I fail to see any benifit what so ever for them blocking me. They also present me with no proof what so ever of this so called "security inconsistancy" crap.

Mi7spike.. I'm with ya bro.. I stopped playing at King a while ago, I go back once in a while to clean up some change.. but its some of the biggest pain i nthe ass I felt in skill gaming.. Fuck em... I'l lbe on WW. Which is a shame, because King is where the good games are at.. but that's business... they don't get too much of mine anymore.

I understand the frustration, but as the devil's advocate, I'm sure the TOS contains the legal jargon allowing them to terminate any account, at any time, for any reason. I think the only legal obligation they would have after such action is a refund of any money actually deposited by the player.

I am glad they check accounts but agree that this should take 1-3 days tops.
