Internet connection? I am on a really high speed connect because I am at a University. I'm pretty certain that this gives me an advantage in BJ and Chuzzle games..
What about you guys?

SBC Yahoo DSL. I don't see a difference in skill gaming performance between my house's DSL and my company's T-1 line.

I'm have 10mbps cable, though most of the bandwidth is being used by my cctv/dvr system. I don't think internet speed give much of an advantage in games unless you're going up against someone with dialup, then they're kind of screwed.
100 mbps.......

I have 6mb ADSL. I don't see how your internet connection could affect your skill gaming ability.
I wouldn't expect connection speed to affect you at all on the major sites. The flash game and layout are all downloaded prior to game start, so it's more a matter of processing power and graphics processing on the player computer. With that said, I believe King's games are optimized as best as possible to minimize the effects of computer processing power, but a small advantage might still exist.
There are two sites I know of where connection speed affects gameplay: Gamecolony.com and Skill7.com. It's not such a problem with Skill7 as all their games don't have time bonuses, so playing speed isn't important. However, with GC, the games are java-based and every move is communicated with the server, i.e. every time you move a card in Solitaire, there is a slight pause as that move is sent to the main server. This allows games to be continued if technical errors are encountered mid-game, but severely disadvantages slow internet connections.
Ok, so internet connection isn't so much an advantage, but processing and graphical power definitely is. I've played BJ2 and my computer and the time it takes the jewels to fall on the board is a lot faster than playing on some other computers. All the while the same amount of time is counted down in the game. This allows me the opportunity to commit more moves to the game than another player, theoretically, if another player and I had the same play speed capabilities.
Yeah that's true. Games like Crescendo Catcher and Twist Me Silly are horrible to play on slow computers.
this will sound dumb, but Swap It on WW plays WAY faster on any laptop I've ever had than any desktop I've ever had... no idea why
