I spent my Saturday at the California powerlifting state championships, and guessed who showed up.

He squatted 900 pounds...he along with the rest of the top tier competitors were monsters. There was a 308 that squatted 1050 pounds....awesome.

Details? Well, the event started at 10, and it didn't end until 5 o'clock or so. I met two guys that I knew from Bodybuilding.com, I bought some knee sleeves, and I got to learn a lot from watching elites go at it.

Oh yeah, I'm at 195 pounds and I was one of the smallest people there...no joke. I've never seen bigger guys in my life. I'm not only more motivated to lift, but now I'm more motivated than ever to EAT.

I MUST EAT WENDYS AND ORDER A TRIPLE PATTY ALONG WITH FRIES

    AND THEN I'LL GET DIABETES

Wendy's wtfffff. Not healthy or appetizing; Eat some real food. What's your real diet?

This makes me want to put up a thread (or a section) for food, cooking, and fine dining. I will after I eat, BRBBB

    Make a thread on food.

Here's my weekday diet, which is more than what any of you want to know about me:

4:30 AM -- Kashi Whole Grain cereal with 1 protein shake

    7:15 AM -- 4 inch Pastrami/Turkey/Ham sandwich

    10:00 AM -- Protein Bar

12:00 PM -- Chicken curry with rice, bok choy, bell peppers, lots of other veggies

    3:00 PM -- Protein Bar

    5:30 PM -- Pre-workout energy shake & protein bar

    7:00 PM -- Post-workout protein shake

    7:30 PM -- 2 1/4 lb. hamburgers (8% fat)

Throw in some random chips and other snacks in the afternoon and that's my regular routine. I'm gaining weight on this as a 195'er at 5'10, and I'm not even fat yet...I have a long way to go.

    Detailz on those hamburgers plz.

    Beef? Free-range?

The extra hormones from the factory processed beef might seem like a benefit, but uhh, it's not without its faults. I'm sure you know plenty about that though.

Can you get ahold of any game meat (Deer, Buffalo) in SF?

And most importantly, WHERE'S THE FISH? You live in a coastal area, I'd be eating 4,000 calories worth of fresh fish per day if I lived there.

My work commute is nearly 2 hours one way...thankfully most of that time is spent on the train.

I buy my meat from Trader Joe's, the cows are grass fed and aren't tampered with...I don't eat processed shit (it really is shit). No game meat here locally.

I have fish every now and then...mahi mahi, talapia, salmon, bangus, etc...and my weekend diet is a lot more loose and has more variety.
