Worldwinner Terms of Service
Section 3.1, Paragraph 3:
"Please note that in certain circumstances where a player's account is closed by the Site for a violation of these Terms and Conditions, that player's winnings may be voided and not returned to that player. In such an event, the Site uses these winnings to defray the costs of administration and enforcement of these Terms and Conditions."
What does everyone think about that?

lol.. well kinf uses them towards free-rolls.. and we already had a thread about how we think those funds should be used...
Stealing is my opinion.. give it back.

You'd think the cut they take would be enough for (poorly) enforcing the terms and conditions.

I think it's terrible because, first of all, they should give the money won by cheaters back to the people who lost to them. It would not be that hard to figure out, especially in larger competitions. When they first launched the new SR, there was a glitch that allowed for impossibly high scores, and players were exploiting it and scoring in the 1880-1890 range, which is just not feasible. Anyone, someone abused this and took first in a big tournament and won $500, but after enough people complained about it they reimbursed all the players affected by it based on what the user claimed his score would have been had he not used the glitch. And if scores are zeroed out after competitions have closed--I don't know if this is what happens or not, or if they only get zeroed out while they're still open, then it'd be even easier to properly reimburse the others in the tournament. Second, I get the impression that they let cheaters run wild for a bit before they ban them and zero out the scores. I'm kind of a conspiracy nut lol, so part of me believes that, while I'm sure some of that delay is making sure that they are cheaters, another part is that they wait for the person to rack up enough where they do a withdrawal request, and THEN ban them. Since ww refuses to pay back people affected by cheaters and even goes so far as to ban players from the forums and threaten to ban them from the site, they obviously have greed as their top priority, not fairness in any sense of the word.
I also don't think it's fair that they confiscate winnings since they clearly cannot prove all the time that people are cheating, so they may be robbing innocent players of money based off a witch hunt.

Yeah, I agree with houseofpwncakes. It's an "edgy" business. It's acutally better for them if more players cheat, so that they can "enforce" their TOS and keep the winnings. Bloody bastards. Otherwise, why are those bot sites still online? Look at silentcheat.com - a shame!
I'm playing at King.com now only. Although, they "use" your withdrawn money during 14 days for clear financial reasons, they still seem more correct/legal than WorldWinner.
