The "My Town" feature on King.com

Has anyone else checked out the "My Town" feature that's accessible via your player profile? I think this is a really cool addition, as it lets us network and communicate with fellow players in our area.

If there's one thing King has triumphed over WorldWinner in, it's definitely the player community and social networking aspect of the site. WorldWinner feels very cut-throat and unfriendly when it comes to playing in the games, and there's no open source of interaction for regular players. On King, everything feels laid back...everyone's casual, you've got a blog for talking to people, good players get recognition for their tournament wins, and so on. I'm in a much better mood when I'm playing on King, compared to WorldWinner where I feel like stomping on Flignats' testicles every time he eliminates me in the survival tournament.

Anyone else feelin' me?

haha... Yeah I noticed that two games I Think I took you down.. Don't feel so bad.. SRX and Kavishah take me down a lot.. I've made it to round 9 but I am sittig in 8 now.. I can't get to 10.. Pain in the ass.

Haha, SRX and Kavishah have both taken me down too. I'm surprised SRX doesn't participate in the daily delights or the big specials...he's a l33t BJ player.

Haha, SRX and Kavishah have both taken me down too. I'm surprised SRX doesn't participate in the daily delights or the big specials...he's a l33t BJ player.

SRX is banned from playing bejeweled 2 and can only play in survivals and ladders. he was another one of kabitcha's victims that she "rallied against" because she was a sore loser. i am just glad cflowox hasnt been added to her list of victims. aaah it is so incredibly sweet when snotty plots fail >D i love how every single victim of her harrassment, abuse, and rallying just automatically messages me.... or gets one of their friends to message me and tell me about it. i LOVE that XD

i like it. but they dont have my city. oh darn XD so i decided to pick new york city to "camp out" in.

i really like how my town is organized you can see what the latest big win was for someone in your city. plus the top player of the city at the moment. and afve game of city at the moment. king is sooo freakin awesome.

i sent John Kim my master thesis length suggestion of how king is better than WW. LOL! i have finished sections 1-4....just need to finish writing up sections 5-6 LOL! section 5 is definitely gonna be community... king just PWNS in that department. i usually have both king and WW open in seperate windows. when i click on the king community tab and the WW community tab and switch back and forth....WW's is just soo DEAD...its just my buddy list and player search feature XD


now if king put their sorry asses to work and fixed their WITHDRAWAL SYSTEM (oh yea and better premium tournaments) they would be perfect :P

i can make a thread of what i already sent right now. should i do that? it is full of typoes and grammar mistakes....but it is quite fun none the less XD

i want to send king a nice lengthy suggestion too...but they really dont have much to improve upon thats MAJOR you know...other than a couple things like withdrawals and the like.
