Has anyone listened to his discussion about King and his stance? Anyone agree/disagree or been playing less cash games because of it all?

I have, and I saw his blog entry for today. I do agree that the new bonus meter doesn't serve the interest of players, and that the bonus money is just a gimmick...

My level of playing activity is still the same, and I'm fortunate enough that I can make some money off the Bejeweled progressives every now and then. I feel kind of bad for the mid-tier players though...there's no real opportunity to make significant amounts of cash on King unless you're either particularly good or get really lucky.

It's not a hard concept to grasp, people win money because others lose money. And since all these sites (except Dukesbox) charge SO much per game, of course only the best players make any profit at all.

I don't get dwaggie's problem. For years there was no discount at all. Sure, the bonus bar is stupid, but if you don't like it, don't pay attention to it. It's a strange reason to suddenly feel so angry.

Agreed, the loyalty meter, doesnt affect my gameplay whatsoever. It actually was up for a while before I knew that there even was one. However, if Dwaggie is arguiing based on principles than I would agree with what he says as being misleading and that's never good a for a business to do. The whole "bonus" money refund thing is very irritating considering you cannot withdraw the funds. Worldwinners bonus money system works great because if you spend the amount of money you had as a bonus, and win, it transfers over to real money. i was very excited to see that. But business cannot deceive their customers, that is just bad. AND considering how much money and how much of an influence Dwaggie does have on the crowd, thats not to say people are going to stop playing, but his voice should be heard and in some way listened to by the staff. The fact that you lose Royal cup entries f'in blows.

Well, glitches happen. It's software. How could you possibly solve the RC issue? Replaying the same round isn't an option when your opponent has already advanced. Having the two players play again would be unfair to the opponent. If you got back your RC entry, you could probably devise ways to crash a poor scoring game, allowing you to enter again and again. There's no solution.

Hmm.. yeah, but they would be able to tell that the crash didn't come from their end and was caused by the user. They would also be tracking when the crashes happened and if they saw more than one crash when they scored high they would call it fraud and suspend the account. The best way to solve the issue would be to forfeit the entry but give back real cash instead of bonus cash, which is sort of like stealing in a way..

Bonus cash can all be converted to real cash, people. It's just as good as real cash.

How? Sure if you Challenge someone you know and purposely lose the game.. Still King takes some of your money through a fee. Worldwinner's money gets converted to cash as you play.. they rock at that.. I wonder why Worlwinner is so small compared to King.

Here's how: withdraw all of your withdrawable money. Let's say you have $20 in bonus money. Play your account down to zero (play progressives or something where you won't win money right away). Now make a tiny deposit.

VOILA!! Your bonus $$ resets to zero.

I have reset my account to 0 plenty of times, when i win the money back the bonus amount stays in the account and still cant be withdrawn
