    Default King's "non-withdrawable" bonuses

OK guys, so I've earned $15 from King's $5 and $10 promo this month. I played my account down to $0.02 just now to see what happened, and I still have $15.00 of non-withdrawable money in my account. So basically this money is meaningless, right? I'll just get a higher and higher non-withdrawable balance each month that does me no good?

Anyone know how to convert that non-withdrawable money into real funds somehow?

There was a long discussion about it in one of the Fool's Blogs. The Fool also stated he'd be making a post about the non-withdrawalable topic soon.

Anyways, from what I could figure out from the discussion in the comments, you have to play your balance down, and then make a deposit equal or greater than the non-withdrawable balance or something like that. Not entirely sure though. There seem to be a lot of people "upset" with the whole situation.

those non withdrawable funds are the same as WW's game credit system. thats money you get to play with. if you turn it into REAL winnings then they become withdrawable again.

At WW -- you play the credits, and the credits are gone (at least when I was there). King -- the credits remain. I have $1.22 in my account right now and still have $15.00 in non-withdrawable credits.

I guess the credits reset to $0 when you deposit. So to make use of the bonus money, once my account balance is higher, I need to... and this is comical... withdraw down to just my credits (right now, $15). Play all of that $15 so I have an acct balance of exactly $0.00 and a non-withdrawable balance of $15. Then hurry up and deposit $10 before I win any of my open tournaments.

Voila. I now have $10 in my account and a non-withdrawable balance of $0. I, in essence, would have turned the $15 into real money.

What you DO NOT want to do is deposit when you still have some money in your account. At least that's what I'm gathering, as then the bonus money would disappear. Right?!? (EDIT: This was wrong. The bonus money would not disappear, but you still have non-withdrawable funds in that amount. So you do want to zero your account out but not for this reason. See next post.)

OK, I just took my balance down to 42 cents and made a $10 deposit. I now have $10.42 and just 42 cents in non-withdrawable credits. I normally never deposit on King.com, but the new bonus rule means I need to empty my account and then deposit every now and then just to make the bonus money become real.

But we can consider the bonus money to be real money for all intents and purposes. You just have to deposit to get at it.
