No, you don't need to withdrawal for it to be considered "winnings." WW will provide you with your gross winnings (including entry fees), your net winnings (minus entry fees of games won) and your total losses (entry fees of game lost.) From some of the other posts, you have to claim the "net winnings" as income, but you are then able to deduct the losses when you itemize.
