Default What's the most you've kept in your Paypal?

I'm soon approaching the 4 digits, and I've heard horror stories of accounts with excessive amounts of cash being closed due to "suspicious activity" on transactions. I get funds from places other than Worldwinner and King, so I need to be on the lookout. I'm not willing to link my real life bank account to my Paypal in the (unlikely) situation that my Paypal somehow gets hacked.

What's the most you guys have safely kept?

Personal account: everything is immediately withdrawn

Business account: we've left a few grand in there for a couple of months

So in essence you HAVE to spend it, or can you request a check?

I could always request a check, but eh...I like having a hidden stash of Benjamins online. :P
