King deposit bonuses: Is it just me or?

Does King make a "thing" of offering deposit bonuses routinely 24hrs after I make a deposit? I am few and far between them usually, but the last three times, at least, this has happened without fail that I make a deposit after a hiatus and then the very next day they offer a bonus 20 or 30 % and I am not able to take advantage, having just blown my wad the day before.

Is it just a case of poor timing or is this on purpose to draw more from me while I'm in a spending mood? This doesn't seem to fall at any given time like the beginning or end of the month, I don't think...

You can make it a point never to deposit unless it comes with a bonus. Same way I never buy a game on Steam unless it's discounted.

I would say that the deposit bonuses tend to fall during the week of a U.S holiday...like Kworb says, you can just not deposit until a bonus is offered!

Or just always deposit whenever there is a bonus, whether you need the cash on the site or not, and then withdraw it as soon as you can (or right away if you don't have a pending withdrawl, damn the 14-day wait between withdrwals).

I do think it's actually poor timing, not something where they do that on purpose right after you've deposited. I believe the bonuses are site-wide when they run them.
