Thread: worldwinner and superrewards offers?

    Question worldwinner and superrewards offers?

So I recently went back to WW after a long hiatus after getting sick of the King daily free spin of torture and futility and feeling the need to spite them by spending money somewhere else. This is a thing I've never seen on WW before: a section to "complete offers" for rewards points? Are these the same rewards points that are earned from playing games and redeemable for game credits on the worldwinner site from the rewards store? Quite a few of these appear to be free offers for survey sites and whatnot, but the point values are quite high and would translate into at least 10 or 15 dollars worth of game credits from the rewards store or even gift certificates from some places. Has anyone tried these? Are they "safe"?

Well, safe as any real survey site is, anyway, with a dedicated spammy email for such things? - I used to do those and some of them were reasonably fun and profitable, and some were just a waste of time. Nothing big, just 15 bucks of gift certificates from Amazon every few months for surveys. It made for a few extra gifts for myself here and there, but if the rewards points can be exchanged for game credits, I'm considering loading up a browser with useless toolbars for the privilege since I can afford to clog up a spare machine with such things and don't have to give any credit card info.

What do you guys know about this?

I've done several.. I got a discover card and that got me 38,000 reward points. that was pretty sweet. I'll watch any video for 20 points or so.. downloaded real player for some points.. installed bing bar for some points.. signed up for some cooking newsletter and they send a lot of emails out, but it has some useful recipes..

there are lots of complaints on the WW forums about people not getting points. of course there are lots of complaints on WW forums about everything... so i guess your mileage may vary...

hmmm ... so it would seem!

A few tentative forays have yeilded mixed results for me thus far. Survey sites which are member oriented seem more reliable than the single surveys because even though you can jump through hoops of pre-qual questionaires for days, I was unable to actually get "qualified" for an actual survey. Also there are the old "complete three sponsor offers" hidden among these disguised as "surveys" so I spent a half hour accomplishing nothing. The apps are hit and miss - Real Player works, but most promising for utility turned out to be the most frustrating and disruptive mistake (stay AWAY from that translation tool Babylon9 - I not only did not get the points, but I can't seem to get rid of the damn thing as my homepage now!) Surprisingly, the quiz Jungle "which harry potter character are you?" paid off, despite my expectations to the contrary, so I guess you never can tell...

I only did the free ones though. Perhaps the purchase required ones are more solid, but I did get enough to get 5 bucks of credits to keep me alive in ladder challenge without depositing anything. And the survey sites do make it worthwhile if they are reputable ones (which is apparent one way or the other pretty quickly or by checking surveypolice website) so its overall a win for me on this. Thanks!

they are definitely not safe. I signed up for a few "FREE" ones like free credit survey and what I ended up with was monthly charges from credit score.com and there was no way to stop it. The only thing I could do was to call credit company to stop this company from charging me. Also you said you had a hiabtus from WW, I wonder if you read worldwinner terms and conditions and one of them says if you don't use ww for 6 months, they will charge you $3.65 per month for "processing fee".

yes, after the initial one or two that actually credited, I tried numerous others that i had to go through customer service to get the points for.

I suggest if anyone wishes to take a chance on these to note the offer text and the point value BEFORE YOU START and to read the requirements carefully - then note which offer goes to which page then RECORD THE URL and take screen captures of the landing pages anytime you get to the end of an offer. (you can also use the "view source" of the original offers page to locate the exact ID of each offer as well since the survey ones all sort of look the same and it is hard to tell which is which - you will want to note the "click ID" for each offer to associate them with the status page once you complete them. If something doesn't credit use the "get help" button on the offer page and track down which offer didn't process on the status page (they should all be listed in the reverse order you viewed them, most recent first) and enter the urls of the finished offer pages and also copies of any confirmation emails you receive as evidence of having completed them.

Also note and steer clear of any survey pages that offer free vouchers or certificates *(upon completion of sponsor offers - usually having some labeled 'silver' or 'gold' level) because these invariably require purchase on some buried level and are a waste of time. Beware of the software installs (VLCmedia player is not what it appears to be - links to the same VF ad as the one right next to it)

Offer reports on a 15-minute delay. (this one is especially annoying since I had to give my SS# to get the damn temporary card number and online ID registered and have sent my confirmation of this and STILL am getting run in circles from customer service on the points even after providing this info - I figured GreenDot would be trustworthy but I have no idea what's going on with this and I'm a getting really annoyed.
    • 221 pts Free Doritos Sample Get a FREE Doritos Sample! Rewards Points awarded upon valid email submit. Offer reports on a 15 minute delay
    • 486 pts iFreeTV Online TV Viewer, watch hundreds of channels for free! Rewards Points awarded upon valid download and install. Offer reports on a 15 minute delay
    • 993 pts AmpSurveys Complete a survey to earn your reward and a chance to Win! Rewards Points will be awarded upon survey completion. Offer reports on a 15 minute delay. (tons of "pre-qualifying" surveys that are pretty long only to get "sorry you don't qualify" messages from OTX - they get info and you get nothing)
    • I've got at least a couple more survey related ones that I finished but didn't credit (cashcrate, mysurvey) but I don't know which offers they correspond to so I have to go back and click all the generic survey offers till I hit a page that looks familiar or tells me they already have that email registered (hence my warning precaution of taking note of the offer you click and the page it actually takes you to as well as the completion of that task - I learned the hard way)
    • 1,764 Join MyView community today You're almost on your way to getting your voice heard! to finalize your membership and start participating in free paid and unpaid surveys, please take a few short moments to provide a bit of information about yourself (this one I can't actually complete because there is a bug or something on the survey page that never finishes loading once I;ve confirmed and activated my account)
I'll update with any that credit through customer service on these (if they do)
Anybody else have tips on which ones are good/bad/working?

On a side note - the survey sites themselves can also pay off if you have the time - pinecone is great (pays cash each survey) and ipsos has garnered me several amazon gift certificates in the past but not all of them are as decent. None of them are a second job of income or anything, but theres a site called surveypolice 9dot something but I forget what) that is a great reference tool for which sites are not a total waste of time.

also worth noting that customer service doesn't appear to actually READ the stuff you put in the comment/question box on the help links for these. I've yet to get a response that indicates it to be anything other than a bot which seeks certain info (and seemingly misses it when entered if not first prompted to do so)
