    Smile WordFeud

Okay I finally got hip to things a upgraded to a smart phone. What's the first thing I do with it? Look for word game apps...(geez, I'm so predictable).

Wordfeud is the least buggy of the apps I've found and it's as scrabble-like as they get. If any of you fellow word gamers are also equipped with a smart phone and some time to kill, look up the 'theartsyone' for a fun game.

I'm on scrabble too, but that game is way to buggy.

And lastly, for mr. wranderson1...how on god's green earth do you get over 900 on scrabble blast? You're TOOOOO good!!!

I don't have a smartphone, but from my twitter feed I always gathered that Words With Friends was the go-to app for mobile Scrabble.

Unfortunately I can't play words with friends -- I installed it on my phone and it crashed the thing, I had to do a hard reset. I was told the app isn't compatible with a lot of the sprint smart phones. I got the nexus google phone so if any has had any luck with WWF on that phone, I'm all ears.

Heh, hadn't checked these forums for a while...

Do you mean Dash? I dunno, I just try to do what I normally do, but resist the impulse to spend too long on any given board setup. There are better players that I am at dash (archaeopteryx and especially dandman).

Some of the most beastly players at normal, 4:00 minute rounds are much worse at dash, which is interesting to me, to say the least.

I'm always up for any word game, but I am still in the stone age with my pay-as-you-go phone...

Pay-as-you-go cell? Is your home phone rotary-dial...? Just teasing--yes I meant the dash and since you're the only person who has a video on youtube playing SC-dash, with a score over 1000, I'm going to crown you king.

The one thing I enjoy about the dash is it does force you to make choices quickly. Even if my dash score are inconsistent leaning towards the crappy side, it at least allows me to improve my speed. This way my 4-minute SC games are improving because I'm not getting so hung up on finding the "perfect" play.

I've noticed that dandman96 is another newbie who has been doing quite well. I don't know who the guy is, his profile says he's from UK so he's obviously quite the word guru what with scoring over 1200 within the first 6 months of playing. Not that I'm skeptical...but I probably am...or completely envious...

But like I keep saying, one of these days...I'll rock
