This childish looking game (not girly at all, as gg pointed out!) is so addictive. I've been playing it a lot the past few days trying to find the best strategy.

Usually I go with "5 and under" for the stack priority and "8 and up" for the piles priority. What this means is that if for example the stack gives me a 4 of clubs, I will do anything possible to either move it to the foundation or onto the field. If I can make a 6-5-4 on the field, I will not do it unless I'm trying to create a gap to dump a low card from the stack. If I'm more than halfway through the stack and not making sufficient progress, I become more lenient because else there's a chance I get stuck and don't solve it.

So as usual there's some luck involved, but a good strategy is very important as well in this game. For progressives I imagine it's a fun challenge to try and find the best way to solve a particular layout. But that's not my thing.
