    Default King "boosters"

Did you notice that now on Farm King you can play free games where you can elect to pay for extra time, extra moves, or extra multipliers? Very interesting. Another way King can increase profit -- sort of like purchasing stars. I could see a beginning player thinking it would be fun to put up 500K+ in Farm King by adding on a bunch of extra moves and extra time... for like 30 cents you could put up a huge score.

Obviously I will never do this, as I play there for the profit, but it's interesting to see the paths King travels as they try to make their site more about fun (and being willing to lose money slowly for the entertainment) rather than winning.

If anyone does try it, let us know: is it fun?

I tried it out of interest. Spent 2 cents on this (extra move and extra multiplier powerups). I guess it's fine for people who just want high scores, but other than that, it feels like a gimmick. I imagine they're going to raise the price too (Star Hunt is 21 cents), but maybe some people will still pay for it.

    meh.

Feels like cheating. No point unless the people you play against have the same board. (I spent 2 cents to try the extra move and +5 sec)

Probably wouldn't try boosting, but dont seem to be able to anyway. Is there a link somewhere, or is it only available at a certain level, or in certain coutries???

Boosters are back and are employed in some VIP tourneys now -- see their blog post for more info.

The Booster version of Candy Crush is the greatest game I have ever played in my life. They need to make regular tournaments with this -- the game speed is perfect and is what I envisioned Candy Crush to be played at....

Is the Candy Crush game speed different with boosters? How so?

yeah, I was wondering the same thing... the speed didn't change for me, but then again, I got different boosters in different Candy Crush games I played, so maybe speed is one option??
