Interesting thread but I've come to terms with the fact that cheating and cash-gaming go hand in hand. The reality is there are people all over the world who will cheat to earn a quick buck. Morality is a conviction not a a given. A cashier gives you back a ten dollar bill instead of a one, do you return the money or pocket it?

I know I have lost money to cheaters playing cash games on king, worldwinner or even skilladdiction regardless of each of those sites' security systems. Not everyone who cheats needs to win the daily progressive, some people are happy with winning a handful of a games and calling it good. There is no perfect security system out there--if someone really wants to cheat, they can do it. It's funny that word games are being targeted when any single game can be hacked, period. Plus the word game hacks/bots that I've seen lack the dictionary or strategy to be very effective. Not to say there isn't something out there that would crush me but I'm with rahnnyboy---most top word gamers can typically outscore bot.

But bots/hacks don't include all the people who create multiple accounts or who manipulate a cashgame site in some fashion that skews fairness. I love the internet but using it comes with a price. It's a communication/information tool that sits both good and bad folks at the same table.

Ultimately, I don't like being cheated so I'm not spending a car note on bejeweled tournaments hoping to bring home a Porsche. Instead I wager a little money here and there and if I win something it's an added bonus. Cash game sites aren't the majority anyhow--there are hundreds and hundreds of free gaming sites that provide the same level of entertainment with the price tag.

And one last comment, if someone really wanted a safe cash-game site, the criteria for creating an account would have to be bit more extensive than depositing money...
