wow, lame. i really hope legislation makes its way nationwide for online gambling...the government is so hard up for cash, yet it's too stubborn to impose taxes on probably one of the biggest streams of revenue active online

I read the AP story, and looks like it would just apply to people living in DC. The DC lottery is working with some Greek company to set something up. Other than horrific real estate prices, crime, traffic, taxes DC is a great place to live. I enjoyed living there.

New Jersey is moving into a legalized direction for online gambling too - they;ve been talking a lot through their laws lately.
