Does King Shaft You on your rankings?!!

Last year I cashed out about $500 or $600 on King and they jacked up all my rankings in the games I was playing!

One game 1,000 points and a couple of other ones 2,500 - 3,000 points each! Then they gave me all these phony-baloney excuses about their system detected multiple accounts, so they had to raise my ratings. NO details on anything, even after I asked them to tell me what they were talking about.

I think I already posted that before... BUT... I recently cashed out another few hundred dollars and they go and raise those games ANOTHER 1,000 points each, even though I hadn't even played either one since they jacked up my ranking last time! Gave me the SAME reason, with NO substantiation or details!

I played one of them once or twice, and the other maybe 5 or 6 times, but NOT even for cash, just for fun! That's CRAP! They basically shaft you out of all the money you could have won on the way to that ranking.

All they're doing is hurting their proceeds, since now it's basically a crap-shoot for me to win anything in those games, so I won't be playing either one for money anymore! Don't know why they want to do that!

I've had my rankings bumped up in Bejeweled 2 as a form of punishment for intentionally sandbagging my scores to bring my rank down. I was pissed, but in hindsight it was a fair action to take since I wasn't following the code of conduct...

However, I have indeed had my rank increased in Crescendo Catcher without merit, and I only played the game a few times (aside from my super l33t $500 tournament win). Now that was just dumb...I've never played CC since that day.

Back when I played on King, they would on occassion bump my rankings. It usually wasn't really a big deal for me as I'd just play 1 game until i couldn't do it profitably and they didn't seem to ever bump games I hadn't played. So worse case they'd bump the ranking in the game I was playing and it would then most likely be dead to me. And then I'd just move on to the next game to make money at.

So if you ever look at my profile, I didn't really 'earn' a 11k ranking in amazon survivor! I love that game but can't play it in Texas. So I played it like a week when I was on vacation in a different state. I got the ranking up to I think 5k on my own before heading home. At some point it magically jumped up to 11k. Guess they didn't want me to be tempted to get in the car and drive 7 hours to the Oklahoma border (skill gaming is legal there right?) to try and play.

I always assumed they were just trying to protect their bread & butter customers in the lower ranks. And I found it annoying of course. But king.com can do whatever they want to you, it's their site. You play there only because they let you! So I tried to get over it.

That's what it seems like they're doing... Punishing you for winning! We'll teach you to be TOO good in those games! We'll just push your ranking up so you're OUT OF THE MONEY in that game now!

If they really wanted to be FAIR, there wouldn't be any ranking system, and ALL games would random. But their goal isn't to be fair, it's to make money!

I think I'm only going to play one game at a time for money, and when I hit the breakeven point, cash out. Then if they push the ranking up in that one game, it won't matter, because I was basically finished with it anyway, and they won't have any other games they can push my ranking up on.

Then I go onto a different game and do the same thing.

that's what I do. I usually have 2 or 3 game rotation I play hard until I get to the point where I can't consistently win then on to the next one. right now I play farm king, crescendo, and bubble witch. before this it was bj, amazon speed, jungle speed. bj left the other 2 became unprofitable so I moved on. I was kind of worried because bj was my bread and butter and I could always fall back on that but luckily I always find a game or 2 that's profitable. I really need candy crush to come online because I'm close to 6000 in farm and there's nothing up there.

yeah, I just recently got rank bumped in Farm King and Midas Miner (??) for no reason; earlier that happened to me in Seashell Squeeze, Crescendo Catcher, and Bejeweled 2 as well.

Happened to me a few times. The last time was when I kept winning the Bric-A-Brac progressive so they bumped out of that ranking bracket. I kinda expected it to be honest, my ranking barely went up after each tournament, while I was clearly much better than the others.
