Hey Grengoddess, I'm quite disappointed with King's newest release as you need a lot of fortune to win the game. My gameplay-tactic is to play from top to bottom by using movements which refer to the tasks at the bottom. So my focus is not to create as many chain reactions as possible with each move, but I might play inefficiently Farm King offers nice graphics and smooth controls but the "skill part" of this game kinda sucks!

got hooked on this tonight... thought there was something more than switching to it, but since it's all about match-3, I'm in!! Got 372K and am in 2nd place in the Top Winner tourney... wish it had been the other progressive.

Yea I finally figured out what I needed to do to get to a "big money" 3rd round. Too bad the hardest part is actually doing it. And doing it takes a lot of luck too lol

What do you have to do?

I like the game mostly. I agree that you need quite some luck to get the really good scores, but getting a good score is almost always possible with skill.
I hate that they slow down the game by having you plant arbitrary things.

What are you guys strategies to win the most money in new games like this? Try to win a big progressive is obviously my prime priority, but I'm not playing any cash games yet. My thinking is that everybody is low ranked now and waiting for the better players to become higher ranked, only lesser players will be left in a few weeks and than I can crush those with ease. Is this thinking right, or am I overlooking something?

I realized that the best tactic to play this game is to focus on destroying at least six symbols with each move (take time and look for possible moves). It doesn't really matter if you destroy task-related symbols - it's quite more important that you increase the chances for chain reactions which will happen automacially. In fact I don't even look on my task-list itself but just switch the symbols with the largest multipliers

See my 314 points video using this tactic (I guess up to 500.000 points are possible, too):

what do you use to record your own play? I am realizing that I should record my play, watch it to improve for the next go-round, and then play again (like in King progressives). I've never done that before. How is it done?

    NIIIIICE VID!

also depending on what plant you pick depends on what objects you have to strive for in the match 3 game. >_> and what board you get too!
