Nah, it is still profitable, but with the influx of better players and the thinning of the payout structure (e.g. 1st place wins less because more folks get something), my margin is significantly less. Went from withdrawing 1-2K per month to 100-200 per month; quite significant! If they have another "championship" thing, I'll probably get back up to speed, so look for some challenges! But even then, the last one they allowed a cheater to play (and eventually win) after significant warning from several top players including a player profile showing why the dudes background was more closely aligned with that of a computer programmer and not of a word game player...so I am still a little bitter with WW for that.
Also, to stay playing at the top level, I really have to study a lot and work has been taking priority (I haven't played much scrabble lately either, and when I do, I don't win as often as I used to...and it is pretty much entirely related to preparation/practice time).
