lost round 4 to spitefire 74k to 72k
lost round 3 because I forgot to play it

Have one entry in round 10 with a pretty good score (>100k) and one entry left.

I am HIGHLY suspect of a lot of the scores!

I LOVE word games, and I would assume that most of the people playing Keyword with good scores must also love playing them, or they wouldn't be that good!

I played one of those daily .60 tournaments the other day and ended up finishing 10th. I checked out the 9 people in front of me and some of their Keyword and Word Battle high scores sure DON'T measure up to the Word Link high scores.

Seems like if you were that good at Keyword, your Word Link score would be fairly decent. I know that's not necessarily true, but it SURE seems strange!

Here's what the approx. high score rounded in thousands, for the 9 people in front of me had for Keyword/Word Battle/Word Link:

I've got the LOWEST high score out by a LONG shot out of everyone for KW!

I've gotten TONS of scores in WL between 100-200K, and I've never tried the Rahnnyboy golden tile strategy. You tell me all these word gurus up there can't even pull a 100K score with as good as they are in KW & WB?!

Look at that 1st guy... 4K for Word Link! That looks like he tried one time and didn't even finish the game.

All's I can say is MOST those WL high scores are some WEAK high scores in comparison to their KW & WB high scores!

The names have been withheld to protect the innocent, since I can't really prove they've done anything wrong! I'm just sayin'...

someone has 19k for word battle? that's crazy! I thought ~15k was about the cap on word battle. I guess if you play by yourself there are no halved scores for duplicates, so 16k is possible... but 19k is ridiculous

19k in word-battle would need really nice layouts these days, but a few years ago the number of golden-double-word-score letters varied in each round (unlike the constant 2 per round it is now), so you could occasionally score loads with one word.

It seems theCompDude has now been banned ('user not found') after winning the Keyword RC. Great. He cost me my 2 best entries in the Letterswap RC too.

King are quite good at dealing with cheats, but surely they could have spotted something suspicious earlier than the final of a RC??
