not worth it, since you are playing against everyone, including the very best players

well it just depends on how bad you are at a game. remember in royal cups you only need to win 3 rounds to get your money back. so while a bad or average player may not make a large amount of money as long as you break even and not lose it's all good. I never play 1 on 1 games, just not worth it at all. you need to win 66% just to break even. I play mostly cup and progressives. also an occasional 3 or 4 player game. I've found as a general rule of thumb is if you average a borderline money score in the progressive then you will win a majority of your smaller tournaments. Luckily for me I have bj to fall back on when I need money. but I do have about 3 or 4 games in my rotation. but I would say practice and don't give up right away. I thought when I got moved up to warrior king in Jelly Swelly that that game was over for me. but after a couple weeks I did start to do better and win more consistently. eventually I got moved up to emperor and I topped out at 9500 ranking. so don't give up unless you keep losing and never make any money then pack it up and find a new game.

1 stupid thing I did was not realize you only have 5 entries into a RC. So one came up in a game that I was just starting to play. I was doing well at the lowest levels, so I jumped in and played my RC entries right away. I did ok, but had I waited a bit and kept playing the progressives and practicing I may have done much better assuming I didn't wait too long and have the RC fill up!
