    Default the economy

    So is the economy going to crash or what? Can we really keep running trillion dollar deficits for long?

    Crash? It's uphill right now so I don't see it crashing.

    well if a bush and dick werent in office for 8 years, america would have never been screwed over clinton left us in a surplus remember :P

    actually after the Iraq invasion there was 5 years of growth in the economy. the last 2 years of Bush the congress was controlled by the democrats and they spent double what the republican controlled congress did. I believe the repubs were increasing the debt by 500 billion a year, whereas the democrat congress the last 2 years of Bush was increasing the debt by 1 trillion a year. nevertheless they are all scum in DC. I would like to start a political party called the proletariat party. to combat and eliminate the overindulgent DC bourgeoise.
    I liked Clinton, but I wonder how much of the surplus was a result of an increase in capital gains taxes from the whole dot com boom.

    I don't think you can't put as much blame as most people do on 1 president's time in office.

    No, he just violates them and then makes up new ones while making himself immune from them
