So should you deliberately get a low score if you want to start at the bottom, or does it make any difference?

I rarely play ladders but when I do I start from somewhat the bottom. I care more about profit than Reward Points, though.

So does that mean you try to get a low score on purpose when you enter the ladder if you want to try and work your way up?

i think its better to deliberately make friends with the person who is number one so that you guys can lock both your positions (once you get there obviously) and let each other know when you will play and what not. then try your best to beat each other and see who wins lol. that way you never have to worry about losing your rewards point position XD

but dont listen to me, cuz i never played ladders XD

You can open the game up and hit end game and score 0 and ensure a start from almost the bottom. I don't think there is any 'harm' in doing that. Can you sandbag on a ladder seeding when if you didn't play the seeding event for an extra $.50 once the ladder starts you could join at the bottom?

A little, I guess. Or I wait until after the ladder opens and just join in from the bottom.

I decided to try the Bookworm ladder. The 1st person I challenged sent me an email saying they couldn't play against me because they were broke!

So I guess there's no way to actually decline the person, except not play against the person and you have to wait 24 hours before you're able to challenge someone else?

Also, do I get to keep the game/score I already have, or do I have to replay it again against the next challenger? I hope I get to keep it, since it was the 2nd highest score I've ever gotten! 145K! That's good for me!

Also, I see TONS of people that only have high scores in the 10K-30K range at the bottom of the ladder. Do people like that actually accept your challenges when they see your high score is around 150K?!

Some people check your high score, but I'd imagine the majority of people don't even think about it. Also if you want to move up the ladder quickly, you can check the profiles for those available to challenge and see who's currently playing.

Will I be able to use the game I already played when my 24 hours is up, or will I have to replay a new game?

It'll be a new game. Your match that expired counts as a win for you and moves you up. So then, you have to start your next challenge.
