Thread: WW forum weirdness?

  1. #1

    Default WW forum weirdness?

Someone started a thread saying that they were no longer allowed to use MasterCard on WW. A bit later, someone from WW posted and said that mastercard decided no longer to work with the site. The post was deleted shortly and a new one popped up from a different employee saying that WW was the one who decided not to do business with them anymore. Uhhh...SHADY! What on earth do you have to do to get rejected by a credit card company? Did anyone else happen to see that?

Someone else posted this: "was talking with live help.....and MC is makeing the choich to not accept on WW she said"

Well I wouldnt believe half the shit that is said on the forums by non WW employees. Mastercard is raising/changing their fees which is more than likely why a WW is saying byebye to them. A lot of smaller stores are getting rid of MasterCard because of its new fees.

looks like WW employees havent talked to each other again today XD each one will say a different thing. trust me.

that funny that it happened again in another thread. they keep deleting their mess ups, but they cannot delete it from their customers memories. Sorry WW

they probably did something against their contract with MC. i mean they barely kept their side of the contract to me for 2 months. wouldnt be surprised if they messed up this contract too and feigned ignorance when MC shut them out. lol making the same mistakes over and over again.

    i agree, its weird ^_~

The *other* side of the story is that MC didn't want to accept them because they decided to consider it a "gambling" site, which they've apparently been doing with a lot of other real gambling sites.

So it wouldn't be anything sinister on WW's part other than them just not wanting to explain all that. Personally if I was WW, I would just say "hey MC says we're a gambling site so they won't allow us to use them, sorry." Then everyone could take it up with MC.

I find it funny that several people said that's what they've been depositing with so now they're done. There's plenty of other means to get money into WW. Which is what sparked the whole "paypal is a ripoff" debate. Apparently I offended kellybtn so bad, she wasn't coming back to the forums for a while. :/

Yeah, that was pretty pathetic. So much life experience and wisdom, but zero maturity. Whatever.

And I chuckle at the people who say they won't deposit any more. You hear that all of the time from people relating to the fairness issue, too, yet there they are, months later, still complaining about how they're losing $ at WW.

doesnt it mean that if WW is considered gambling instead of skillgaming that they have to abide by different laws?

No, you can't be an online gambling institution in the US. It just means that certain providers choose to not work with Skill Gaming companies because they consider it gambling, not that it actually is gambling. I.e. 14 states saying we are gambling, but we aren't.. so we cant allow certain states to play with us.
