What is the point of skillgaming?

The timing of me reading this thread couldn't have been better. I learned a very important lesson over the past months--have fun and as much of it as possible. Money is really trivial and an obession with it will likely lead to gambling problems...skillgames are about fun and the rush of competion, if get some loot to boot, think of it as an added bonus.

you know what, that is my general take on it too TAO. The money aspect became more of a need because it was paying all my family's bills and what not....but i still thought it was more important to have fun in the process. so i guess my vote is FUN!
