    Default hello

Hi, I have been puzzle solving since before I could walk (according to my mom), a bit of an obsession. I'm one of those that carry a rubik's cube everywhere, and I have grey hair! Does that fit? Ok, maybe I'm the only grey haired man in the world who can solve one in under 10 seconds, and average under 20.

Anyway, I only recently got serious about vocabulary, most of my life I avoided it. But then realized that there's no way to score perfect on an IQ test without it, so I've been doing a lot of memorizing over the last 2 years. Now its paying off, I'm making good money at worldwinner, but I keep getting flagged by the computer for my high scores, thus having to wait half the week each week before I can keep playing.

My video of 1284 on Scrabble Cubes will be posted soon. This was a big surprise to me, I was just trying to make a recording, not break my personal record by 100 points! Anyway, I think I figured out a major trick that others have missed. I won't say what it is but I'll give you a clue...

In the rules there are some finer points, that point to a way to get more words per game. Check my video and count the words. That's all I'll say, don't want to give away the farm...

    Default Hi Thinkr!

Meathook from WW here, glad to see you joined us! Your video is really impressive, my personal best is only 1,216!

Anyway, I think I'm on to the same secret you are, but it's easier said than done, especially when I don't know as many words as you. I am under half your age, afterall!

Well I liked your angle on hitting the triple word with multiple high scores, removing cubes and so on to make it happen. I'm doing a lot of thinking about that. As to the words I know, the key is to memorize the high scoring 7 letter words, just make a list and memorize every day. Of course years experience in solving puzzles has helped me here too. BTW, I hit 1360 on a warmup game late last night - didn't have the camera on though, wow that freaked me wasn't expecting it at all.
