dukesbox slow down?

i've noticed that tournaments aren't closing that fast...having trouble with recruitment? how close is the tower defense game?

We're about a week and a half from launching a beta version of our Tower Defense game for all to test. When this is ready to launch fully, we'll have a new design and a lot of advertising going on all at once which should hopefully mean that its possible to have competitions to be matched in the same hour instead of sometimes having to wait days for them to finish.

Whilst we're working so hard on development, it might sometimes take a little longer for your games to be matched as we're not on as much of a recruitment drive. However we'll try to spare a couple of hours a day to keep increasing our levels of user numbers so games are matched quickly.

Also some tournaments might take longer due to the game not being as popular as others / some users being a higher skill level / being in the next round of a multi round tournaments. All of these problems will be solved when our advertising starts fully, hopefully within the next month. If you get tired of waiting for your games to be matched (so long as they're not multiround tournaments) just let me know and I'll happily refund you the entrance fee.

Thanks for your patience with us, I assure you we're not far from spending a lot on advertising and having much larger numbers of players on our site.

Great news Andrew. I am really looking forward to TD, as it could be the game that goes viral and launches Dukesbox into popularity. If the final version of TD ends up being really good, I would love to go all-out in promoting it on gaming forums and what not...everyone loves Tower Defense!
