My name is Zenia. I have been an active member of king.com since 2005 (as zekila), and I have sometimes been around these boards to see what's on other player's minds.

I recognize some names from King and thought it would be fun to actually communicate with some of you people that I usually just play against in the tournaments.

About me: 36, female, divorced mother of eight year old daughter. Holds a master's degree in Information Studies (which is an IT/communications-thing), and I loooooove playing games - I usually work from home and might tend to procrastinate a bit too often. :0)

My favorite games a Crescendo Catcher, Storm Chaser, and at the moment I play Farm King quite a lot.

I'm playing for cash, but I look at it as a hobby that sometimes pays off. I am a decent player in some games - my best performance so far is making it to the quarterfinals (or something like that - got kicked out with two rounds to go as I recall) of the Hen's Defense royal cup.

How about you? I don't recognize the nick from King.com, but are you an active player in there?

Yeah, I've been reading through some threads, and apparantly many are quite old. But I guess that I'll stick around and see if there's enough activity to keep me in here.

I do like the fact that there is a community for people who spend time playing these games. IRL I know like nobody.

Me neither. I always have a hard time convincing people that it's not a scam. Probably because the 25% cut the site takes is really difficult to justify.

I don't even get that far - my friends tend to consider playing games like this as a stupid waste of time. But hey, I win more than I lose. Most people I know only spend money on their hobbies.
