Default New to the whole skill gaming thing...

So I want to give worldwinners a try and get into the whole skill gaming thing....

I understand that your first deposit they will match whatever you put in, so I was just wondering..

Is it possible to only play with the credits they give you and if you don't like the service, to pull out the original $20 you put in without any penalty?

I just want to give it a small trial before I totally get committed into the whole thing and lose said money.

Actually I might move on to king.com.... you think I can do the same over there by playing only with the freebie money? I'm mainly leaning towards king because of the fact that they actually support firefox , while worldwinners doesn't.

While I'm asking questions... which of the two do you guys think are better for a newbie anyway?

Hi Gyper,

Welcome to the forums. In WorldWinner, you can make an initial $20 deposit to receive the $20 credits and then withdraw your original $20 right back with no penalty. You'll receive your initial deposit back within 4-5 business days, and you'll be able to play solely using the credits.

King will allow you to do the same thing, though they take about 2 weeks to process a withdrawal of your money.

I would say try both sites and see which games you like best...the games that are the most fun to you are the ones you should be playing right now.

I will vouch for skilladdiction, worldwinner and king. I have never had an issue with any of the 3 sites, although I will say that skilladdiction has the absolute best customer service. also, imo the most enjoyable games

SkillAddiction is run by one of our fellow players here (Flignats) and I fully endorse his site.

Huh weird....isn't skill addiction supposed to have a 1st time matching deposit? It doesn't seem to say that on the deposit page...

Try all 3 sites and find a game you enjoy & seem to be good at. Then practice a ton prior to playing for money & get even better! The best way to win some cash is to get really really good while your skill ranking is lowest or non-existant. When you enter tournaments you'll be matched up against all the other new people and they will tend to (this is not nice to say) suck! So you can really clean up.

Worldwinner will bump up your skill ranking real fast, so after 4 or 5 games you may very well be up to division 1 and playing against really really good players who will beat up on you! Don't give all the money back, find a new game or practice even more! And if there is a ladder competition going on in your game, check it out. You can review the player you're going to challenge before challenging them, or accepting a challenge. Choose wisely and you should be able to win very consistently. And from the Community page you can do a player search and find people to challenge as well. It's a bit of a pain, but if you want to win money, search well and choose people you can beat!

King.com will bump your skill ranking up more slowly. So you could have days or weeks to continue to cash in. I'd recommend starting with the daily/weekly progressives because I think you can get paid the most there before your skill ranking gets too high. Once you start having trouble getting in the money on the progressives there, take a look at the cup tournaments. What I've found is that when it becomes difficult to cash in the progressives, I'm still scoring better than like 75% of the people. Just not high enough to get paid. If you bounce over to the cups, in a head to head match you might be able to keep on winning for a while.

Eventually you'll start losing in the cups. At that point you need to stop playing for cash and get even better. Or find a new game! The nice thing about king.com is they have a lot of similar games. So if you play Jungle Bubble and get maxed out there, go try Monkey Quest or whatever it's name is. If you play Klicker Klacker 2, check out Klick Klack & Roll, etc.

good luck!
