Here's my thoughts on making the games fun as possible:

* High production value. Great looking graphics are a must!

* Replayability. Also known as the "addictive" factor. What makes games like Bejeweled 2 and Solitaire so great is that you'll want to play them over and over, even if it's not for money.

* "Secondary" features outside of the game itself. Tournaments should close relatively quickly so that players can receive prizes and continue to play for cash. Pot payouts should favor the players in such a way that someone can reap a profit even after having a short streak of losses.

Still have got a lot of thinking to do, though. This is all in the planning stage...

Yeah, I get that dynamics of the game. But how do you plan on getting them? Making them?

making them would require a genius game development team like king has....maybe we can clone them and steal the originals for ourselves XD but overall i think there are a lot more long term benefits to making your own original games than licensing games off other companies. i mean it is fine to license SOME games but i think the overwhemling majority of a skillgame sites game should be their own original creations.

I think that is debatable, especially taking into account the different variations of skill gaming business models. But with growth comes opportunity and if you have the resources, there is no reason not to make them yourself.

But what I want to know is, what is teh plan for JAcobs site on getting games? Because it sounded like he wanted to make them,

If you guys need a creative consultant to help devise games/analyze a game's feasibility for skill-gaming competition/come up with ideas I'd be happy to help. I helped reconceive and remodel this site when Jacob was about to give up on it. He should be able to vouch for my usefulness in these respects. (I word it this way on the impression there's more people behind it than just Jacob.)

I also have pretty proficient programming skills-- Not a professional, but I can help out.

Do you guys think Cashgamers.net would be a good name for a skill gaming site?

I'm really considering going out and getting bid proposals for having the site made...I can't wait any longer!
