    Default Solitaire Rush problems

So I've gotten pretty decent at Solitaire rush over the past month, and I could probably make a good profit if Worldwinner stopped putting me in the top tier. I can get up to 1850s now; in one game of 5$ 25 man, I even got 1853. The problem is Boersma and other high players are also in that competition, so what's a great score for me barely gives back $.50 because worldwinner somehow thinks I'm on their level. I also just won $60 in a seperate 25 man, and have come in 2nd or 3rd in a few others with people that are more likely at my skill level... My question is, how can I keep in competitions where I have a chance of winning, being in 2nd tier or whatever, and avoid being put up against the top-tier players, whom it's impossible for me to beat (or practically impossible)? Should I play a bunch of $.25 games and keep losing at them, or just hope I'm not on at the same time as the top tier players or what?
I've even noticed the few other players on my level getting bumped up to face the top tier once in a while, where we have no chance...
So is there some way to keep around a level where I can actually win money, or am I doomed to the limbo of being pushed back and forth between easily won and completely unwinnable competitions? It'd be really nice if WW actually told you your rank/skill in a set game, but I can't even find my own stats (can see others)...
So does anyone have any advice? My top games barely get to the 1850s mark, anything beyond that I can't reach... And that's playing at least an hour a day for the past month. I obviously can't create a new account and start over, not to mention how cheap and immoral that would be, but I want to at least make back the $400 I've lost to the site this past month; most of that was actually the full month ago, since then I've been breaking pretty much even, regardless of whether I play high priced entries or low priced, and dailies I can barely compete in...
So yeah, any advanced tips for SR in general in terms of getting up to the 1860s or even 1870s range, or any tips on how to avoid being placed against the top tier players?

Well the way these sites work, if you manage to earn money in your tier, they don't want you playing in that tier.

Darn =/ At this point all I want is at least a portion of the money I've spent on the site back... Should I intentionally play inexpensive games after I win anything just to wait for a losing streak to bump me back down before going for anything high stakes again? Or is it really just the top 5~10 players in a game that get to earn anything at all on this site?

Matched Skill tournaments as you've pointed out are very difficult to profit in at WorldWinner because if you are profitable (or even treading water) you will bump up in rank. So unless you are one of the few top players, you will lose money.

Which leaves you with Open Skill tournaments.. When a SR ladder becomes available you should be able to get some action there. And if there is a survival, if you are good enough, you might be able to profit there as well even if you aren't quite in the top 10 grouping...

Darn... that would explain why after a month and a half I'm literally no richer or poorer than my initial $400 loss. Ladders seem like a mixed bag, and at one point I threw caution to the wind and won my first few premiums in Division 1 Solitaire Rush. And lost all that back shortly after...

I think the biggest problem with the large competitions is that they don't give the same board to everyone... in Zen Gems, its at least the same puzzle, and more about how fast you can beat it, but in Solitaire Rush, there are some ridiculous results in the 100-man competitions...

I think I'm going to work at getting good at Luxor for now, and hopefully make something in the ladder tournament. Gotten up to 216k recently... Ladders I seem to do just under breaking even, though =/

Have you tried King at all? It's a lot more transparent when it comes to ranking and you should be able to make a nice profit in most games. Just make sure to stop playing when people start beating you as much as you beat them.
