The videos on youtube are definitely helping... Just broke 215k in practice mode. Right now part of my problem is accidentally hitting pairs or larger groups, often setting off a chain reaction of 2 or 3 breaks when I'm just trying to build the snake... I am getting better at keeping snakes near the shooter, though.
Also, just got 212k with 45 seconds left b/c last snake was approaching the end... I think I need to go slower on the first two snakes. This is starting to become really fun

personally I started off playing Hard a lot because the daily delight was hard and people on the ladder tended to play Hard. I would play 'quick and clean' and typically score plenty to win the ladder challenges and finish in the money on the daily delight.
The problem is on Easy, quick and clean just doesn't work. And it's taken me a LONG time to get the game pace right. I still tend to finish too soon. There are times when u just need to break your chain and start reloading. Stray shots can help me sometimes because then it's a no brainer, reload!
