Bejeweled Interesting?

I have never really found the secret to Bejeweled and figured out why everyone likes it so much. What is so intriguing about it that causes hundreds of people to play it. On cell phones, it is usually the #1 downloaded game.

well i haven't played bejeweled the normal version.
but i have played paris hilton bejeweled version earlier somewhere on the net. i liked that version so much ofcourse because paris was in the background

bejeweled is an excellent game, i remember the first time i played it (2-3 years ago), after just 1 game i was hooked, and my partner at the time was the same, we were always out to beat each others scores, the simplicity, yet the skillful eye mixed made it a great time filler of a game.

anyone can pick it up and play, but to be good you need a good eye and plan ahead, and my trick was to find a "safety" move at the start of each round.
